It should be a stand alone option. In Canada, the audio upgrade is significant because the standard system is 6 speakers, no tweeters and just about 110W of power. The HiFi system is 10 speakers, and 205W of power, and the HK system is 16 speakers and ~450W. In the USA we have HiFi standard in the i4, with the HK optional at $875.
Have a 2023 Kia Sportage prestige Harmon Kardon is definitely not worth the money. 30-50 is seems to be the norm, at least on the premium Harman-Kardon system
