Mine is pretty wobbly too. Not enough to interrupt the charging but enough to interrupt data transfer while connected to a computer. I think it is one of the dozen quality issues with the Fenix 6. You can try to replace but be aware that you could get a watch with other issues: wobbly buttons, blue tint screen.
I have tried a master reset holding all buttons, letting go of start at first beep, remaining buttons after second beep but the same thing. Garmin Connect can see the watch but I cannot set it into pairing mode. Pressing no to reset to default settings yo-yo's to the fenix screen and back to the reset screen. I noticed today that the upper left button of my Garmin 6 Pro Solar isn't clicking firmly like the other two buttons on the left and the lower right button. (The red button on the upper right has always clicked more firmly than the rest.) I think that this is new, and that something is wrong with the button now. Or, am I remembering wrong and If I can go through four watches (actually, I'm on watch #5 right now) and have the same issue with all of them, I have to assume that it's pretty common and you're probably right about it being a software issue. Not trying to be rude, but you’re the common denominator against three different watches. You should barely hear the button clicks. Tap and release. Don’t hold. Don’t mash. I would agree with you. But this most recent tactix 7 pro has been with me for 5 days and already has a mushy button. That’s weird, for sure.

I've been a happy owner of a Fenix 6X Pro (bought in December 2020) but the start/stop button stopped functioning. I'm on vacation by the sea, and did some surf and swim with it, and I suspect the salt might have blocked the button or something like that. I followed the instructions explained here:

Fenix 7 shouldn't have any problems to lock HR on my wrist given Fenix 5, Apple Watch s6, Apple Watch s5. Apple Watch s1, Garmin Vivoactive HR, Garmin Vivosport and Garmin Vivosmart HR+ had no problems with that. All of those devices were locking correct HR after a minute or two. It's ok. But trying to find HR for over 10 minutes like F7 is I attempted to clean the port as well as opened up the watch to see if the sensor looked OK. The sensor looked fine and I cleaned out the port. Neither of these things resolved the problem. Of course, I also tried a factory reset. My last resort is sending it to Garmin for repair, but I would image that would cost more than the watch is worth. Fenix3 buttons not working [DEVICE] My buddy gave me a Fenix 3 as he has a newer version. Took my grand daughter to pool and now buttons do not respond with exception of the light button. I can hold down to reboot but that's it. Multiple reboots and no change. Waiting for battery to completely drain to see if that does anything.

Hi Today I was driving with android auto / waze and after approx. 100km route notifications started to pop up o Fenix 7. It was poping and vibrsting every second and was very annoying. To avoid it I turned off phone bluetooth connection with Fenix. How to avoid it? Its also strange what is started after some time but not instantly after I

mewcenary over 4 years ago. Hi, Bit disappointed. After 3 weeks, the left side buttons on my Fenix 6 Sapphire have gone 'mushy'. All the buttons started off firm and clicky. Now, and in particular the 'Down' button, have gone very squishy with a lot of free play before there is any click. They therefore feel very unresponsive now. After the installation of v11.28 on my Fenix 7 Solar I have problems with the connection. I cannot sync anymore by WiFi (server not found) and I cannot sync anymore by garmin connect (bluetooth). I unpaired my device and try to pair again, but it doesn't succeed. Pairing failed is displayed after I tried to pair again in the connect app.
2. With the Back/Lap button still held down, press the Power / Light button to power on the watch. 3. Continue holding the Back/Lap button until you see 'Restore Default Settings' on the watch
