A great way to disrupt this boredom is to become a mercenary for a particular faction in the game. If you see a faction that you want to ally with and have a good relationship with, becoming a mercenary is a great way to do it, and you win. decent gold, as well as fame, to do it. You will first need to have become a level 1 clan. Find out who your faction is at war with and fight them yourself. Eventually you may be asked to be a "Mercenary" for the faction, if you're friends with a lord or two. Accept this and prove yourself to the King. After a while of this, you can ask him about serving him again and he should say yes. Promoting you from a Mercenary to a vassel. This could expand the scope of the mod to something greater. Allow you to grant fiefs to your companions thus having them form a new vassal clan. Allow the player to set the name and banner of clans they create from companions. Allows you to grant fiefs to your vassal clans and create new clans for your companions. Welcome to my brand new playthrough of Mount & Blade Bannerlord. This time I enter the world of Westeros in Realm of Thrones, a Game of Thrones overhaul mod.
To become a mercenary for a faction, you need to keep asking lords for tasks. If they offer you to join as a leader of a mercenary-troop, you may sign in. The payment from mercenary contracts have been raised quite a bit to scale with the current upkeep of your army. In effect, your payment is no longer a set value, but based upon the current number of men you are supporting your benefactor
By the way, in Mount & Blade:Warband, the minute you captured a city/town as an independent, pretty much every factions marked you as kill on sight unless you have a ton of "Right to Rule" built up. If you had "Right to Rule" they would recognize you as a legitimate kingdom otherwise you were a bandit unless you became a vassal of someone. King of Games Sep 13, 2020 @ 1:38am. Originally posted by Twisted Misfit: no there's no penalty as long as you're a merc you can open kingdom tab and in the top right hit leave whenever you want and no penalties anymore =) So if I own property, then become a merc. They wont be pissed about the property i already owned before working for them You need to make your clan level 2 (doing missions and fighting looters, press L to see the level) and then you can ask the leader to become a vassal. yeah that works but i want to form my own kingdom and leaving my merc position will make me alot of enemies currently. Yeah it sucks, they wont attack you though. #9. 1st you join to the faction as a mercenary group. While you are fought against the enemy nations and prove your loyalty for your faction then you can go ask to pledge an oath for faction leader. Key difference is you are not rewarded fiefs as a mercenary. i am new to the game but this is my current understanding of it based of of my experiance Apr 19, 2020. #6. Like say we choose bandit and we start off in your hideout where you can upgrade it like the vikings dlc for warband. You can take other bandits hideouts and become a well known and feared bandit too most. If you create a big enough netowrk of bandits, you can intimidate lords or factions for them to pay you to leave thier villages, caravans and farmers or pay you to disrupt another lords
Go into the kingdom tab, then click Leave Kingdom. That'll give you tons of -rep, though. For whatever reason, mercenary contracts never need to be renewed. You're stuck being an mercenary unless you want to take the -20 rep hit. Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. Influence as mercenary drops too quickly. Like, it's not even worth being a mercenary, you will hardly build up more than 20 influence and then it will drop in a mather of days. Ofc you can stablish caravans and play as merc for the fun, but not as a main income source, not now.
In the Encyclopedia -> Kingdom -> select the faction -> scroll down -> it tells you who they are currently at war with including actual kingdoms and minor factions like hired mercenary clans. Showing 1 - 5 of 5 comments
